Minimum hardware requirements for EyeCharts
The chart below lists the Minimum Computer requirements that you
will need to be able to successfully use the EyeCharts software.

Processor:
Celeron or Pentium III, 900-MHz or better (we recommend Dell)
Memory (RAM): 256MB (512MB or more recommended)
Operating Systems: Windows 2000 or XP.
Monitor: 15 inch, 1024x768 resolution (we highly
recommend a larger monitor, 17-19 inch)
CD ROM Drive: (not needed for electronic download).
Internet Connection: Internet access required for
posting encounter counts and maintaining account data. |
Network
Client/server network such as Windows XP/2000. Wireless
networking should be limited, due to the noticeable degradation
of speed when transferring data across the wireless interface.
Server Requirements
Windows XP/2000 or higher server is STRONGLY recommended. Your
server specifications should be determined by your IT system
administrator based on the number of users and network
configuration.
